Intrum Hellas supports borrowers
Piraeus Bank approves a personalized solutions plan
Within the frame of the emergency conditions in the Greek society and market, Intrum Hellas, the largest credit management company in Greece, along with Piraeus Bank will implement a specialized plan aiming to support and facilitate borrowers, both individuals and businesses, which are directly or indirectly affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, for the months to come.
With responsibility and empathy, Intrum Hellas proceeds, in consultation with consistent borrowers, to provide facilities for the repayment of their liabilities as well as other settlement plans based on the borrowers’ financial capabilities. In this context, Intrum as a servicer of Piraeus Bank’s loans, is already in contact with the bank’s borrowers to discuss potential extraordinary difficulties they face, such as decreased revenues or decreased turnover.
The plan, which has already been approved by Piraeus Bank, specifies how these special categories of borrowers will be handled, as the company will facilitate the borrowers in need over the next months.
Amidst these difficult circumstances, Intrum Hellas’ priority is to build trust and maintain long-term sustainability of borrowers so as to support the market and enable future financial recovery.
