Intrum Hellas to act as servicer to Forthnet Group’s loan portfolio acquired by United Group
Intrum Hellas, the leading provider of Credit Management Services in Greece, will service a loan portfolio with a total amount of EUR 281 million related to Forthnet Group on behalf of United Group (NewCo United Group Hellas).
United Group, owned by BC Partners, is a leading telecoms and media operator in South Eastern Europe. Through an agreement signed on May 28 with the creditor banks, National Bank, Alpha Bank, Piraeus Bank and Attica Bank, United Group acquired the loan portfolio of Forthnet Group and a minority interest in the company.
Intrum Hellas’ agreement with United Group for the servicing of the loan portfolio of Forthnet Group will expand its activity in the Greek market by servicing loan portfolios on behalf of banking institutions, companies and investment funds, in accordance with its business development strategy.
